About Us

We bought our first Routemaster bus in 2004 and now we have four! The buses have been lovingly restored to the condition they were in when they entered service in London in the 1950s and 60s. They all have the original internal and external features of that period. In addition to this, since they all have original engines, they even sound right. Until recently we were not able to operate for hire or reward but have run free weekend bus services between Sacrewell Farm and Nene Valley Railway as well as used them at family weddings. We have entertained friends on tours to London for the Christmas lights, taken a bus to the Edinburgh Festival and regularly take one to Glastonbury. Until now we have had to turn down requests from people wishing to hire a bus for an event.

We have now obtained an operator’s licence and two of the buses are available for private hire so that you can book them for your event. The buses are maintained to the high standards required for bus operation and have regular safety inspections. They are fully insured for private hire.

Our operating base is Wansford Station, Nene Valley Railway, just off the A1 near Peterborough.
